I have the same stove and I also got the slightly bigger one made of stainless steel. I got the little solar panel for the two AA batteries as well but unfortunately the rain ruined it. Need another, would like to find a more rainproof one,but it totally works. Interested in Steam power now and using this for heating 30 gallons of water as well for the house water heater. Pressure valves are important! Keep it simple!

I did a little research on this and on one post the person made the comment that during WWII this method was used to run cars. I asked my Dad about it and he told me that when he was stationed over in Europe, he rode on a bus in England that ran on charcoal!

Yea, maybe some type of thermoelectric peltier junction could make electrical out of the heat, thanks.

Yes it was! It came in real handy when I had my electic and gas go off at the same time. I heated my bath water with it and worked like a champ.

Is it a woodgas, or biogas? It seems woodgas, lol. They are very nice stoves, and good for the environment, I like them.

Wood gas is correct... I will change the title... I am very impressed with it don't have to take fuel with me, and I think I can recharge the batteries somehow :) :)
