First you need to go and take a class called "Spray Painting 101". To everyone else.....Doesn't his balcony look like a kill spot off of Dexter?

You really shouldn't spray that way. You should spray from side to side, going in one direction. When you get to the other side of the guitar you stop spraying. Then you move to another section of the guitar. This will keep the finish flat and prevent it from running.

You really shouldnt have put one coat on for so long!
20 thin coats is better than 5 thick coats!

except with metallic paints,which contain metallic flakes, there is no problem.With metallic paint you can' t sand the last coat of color because you destroy the brightness of the flakes, so the job has to be great on the coat before.You get the smoothness with the final sanded work on the transparent lacquer coat ( please, excuse my bad english ....)
