My wife and I found four locations where "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate factory" was filmed near Munich, Germany. Here's the report.

Just met the entire cast at a collector show in N.J.. They were all the nicest people around. Had a photograph autographed by all of them except Gene Wilder who wasn't their. Thanks for posting. great video.

Hi there, can you tell me how you found out that the oompa loompas used to go to the chinese tour, when they weren't filming? i am planning on going to all the original location, but was just curious how you found this out?
Any help is much appreciated.

The famous gates were just west of the clock tower on Emmy-Noether Strasse. Were they not there when you visited, or did you miss them?
