  • VOTE NATE FICK FOR PRESIDENT

  • Both of these men are amazing leaders, I would follow either into battle without question.

And Fick definitely should run for office. He was a great officer and would be a fantastic politician.

  • really informative and interesting

  • @acrc14 it's all good, gotta make sure people know how it is, especially when you have family in

  • @guitarpunk92 sorry if i cam off strong about that :3 kind of a family thing.... most of us marines and all :)

  • @acrc14 haha i know i was kidding I've got a few friends in right now and I'm going after college I'd never dream of calling someone an "ex" Marine

  • @guitarpunk92 Thats why there is no such thing as an "ex-marine" anyone who tells you that is a fool.

  • God I wish I would of had a platoon commander like Nate Fick. In my opinion the jack asses that were Abu Graib caused so much damage to our mission in Iraq that they all need to be in jail for life or on death row. I have talked to Soldiers and Marines who were there before that incident and they have all said other then Bathh party loyalist and a few insurgents from Syria it was pretty quiet. Then the whole thing exploded when the news broke out.

  • whats a former Marine? is that like a Marine who isn't active? cause that's still a Marine....

  • @DevinChief I am not sure but I think the hearing is about some of his former collegues who got sued by the state for alleged war crimes. He was testifying on their behalf. Their names got cleared but they left the force because they where so fed up of all the mistreatment they endured. I know people who'm the book and the series is based upon. He wasn't with them when that stuff they where sued for happend but he is making a karakter testemonie.

  • He is no "former Marine Captain" He is and always will be a United states Marine.

  • @TheFanofFPS Yea he wrote a book called "One Bullet Away: The Making of a Marine Officer". Details his experiences in becoming a Marine officer during a peacetime military, deploying to Afghanistan, than his combat tour in the invasion of Iraq. It's amazing how much it corresponds to Evan Wright's Generation Kill and vice versa. I watched the TV show w/o knowing they were the same people. Took me an episode or two to realize the identical storyline and look it up.
