Darcy's Guitar D18A

I had just recorded this for fun, it is my hack version of Pete Huttlinger's Darcy's Guitar on my new guitar a D-18 Authentic. I figured for the pretty finger picking stuff it really wouldn't do very well. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised so I figured what the heck, I'll put the D-18A version up as well. I was totally surprised by the note to note definition the D-18 displays. I may record a full version with this one just to have an apples to apples comparison. The cat just wanders in and out, but at least she doesn't leave when I play. I count that as a small victory right there.

Even in my hack version this is still one of the coolest acoustic guitar tunes ever written. Nicely done Pete.

@kd8ux Hey thanks for listening and taking time to leave a comment. I have to say I really do like the Authentics. It really is a guitar on a different level. I love Martin's Vintage series, I really think their Golden Era/Marquis series is very cool, but, that being said, there is nothing like an Authentic. It has a sound and feel that is all it's own. Drop me a message if you want me to gush somemore...lol.
