Dear Richard Dawkins !

I no this will never be seen by him or anyone affiliated with him, but I thought it would be a good video to upload anyway to see if anyone else agrees and would love to see this happen! Did anyone else see the TLC series about Ted Haggard? Call me crazy, but I was able to show some slight remorse towards the guy after watching it and I think it would be incredibly interesting to have Richard interview him again

Last I saw Ted Haggard he looked like a broken man, both financially and figuratively. I will have to find the new show you speak of and view it. I think he's a deeply conflicted person.

What's really interesting is that the full interview of Ted Haggard cannot be found. -- the official Dawkins YT channel shows full 60-minute interviews from other of Dawkins' documentaries but not that one, not sure why, could be happenstance, -- a number of other interviews are also not shown in full. Would be most interesting to see the full interview. Might have to ask the youtube Dawkins channel for it.

My point exactly. However, it is important to note that atheism is not the antithesis of theism; atheism is simply the "lack" of theism. It's still not the default state, but has a more broad range.

@Kinin4 A default state is neither Atheism or Theism, since these ideas supposes that a human is first introduced to these concepts in the first place. So really, the default state is a single fundamental question, Who am "I" ? from which many other questions arise.

I agree it shouldn't exist, but I disagree that it assumes the default state is Theism. Neither is the default state. Atheism is certainly *reactionary* to Theism, but Theism need not be the default stance. You can go further back and say that the default state is being unaware of the concept of god. To be an atheist or a theist, one must be confronted with said concept. From there, one becomes either a Theist or Atheist.
