Mortal Kombat (SNES) gameplay

It may not have the blood the megadrive/genesis gave us. BUT it delivered tight controls and solid sound not found on the Sega port. I've been playing games long enough to enjoy games for fun factor not on the simple fact it has blood. With that in mind remember aside from the blood the SNES brought a solid home version of this arcade classic!!!

i had a megadrive but i LOVED playing this version on my friends SNES when I was a kid because I used to play the Arcade version and this version imo is a lot closer to the Arcade compared to the Megadrive version. I was disappointed with the MD version. If this version had blood and fatalities it would have wiped the floor with the md version.

@wesj1231 Get a double flawless victory and do a fatality on the pit stage. (the bridge that you can uppercut your opponent into but that doesn't count as a fatality)

@luigiblox It's been a very long while sense I played but I think it's the Shrine. The level were all the fighters statues are in the background. (I could be wrong on the levels name)

Happily however, MK2 for the SNES has all the violence of the arcade version.

Fond memories of this game, though the Genesis version played far closer to the arcade version. The SNES should have been better, but the controls were laggy and sticky and most of the arcade combos didn't work. Sorry to say the Genesis was the clear winner for MK.
