Nic, I was a little kid in the Sixties, and we were totally into the social issues that the hippies stood for. My kindergarten staged a walkout to protest racial inequality, and we were very serious about it even though we were 5 years old. This version of Hair was something we could see and related to. It meant a lot to me in 3rd grade, and BTW I could sit on my hair.

You liked their harmonies as family members have similar vocal chords producing complimentary harmonies which is pleasing the ear.

I loved them so much and their harmonic genius was outstanding. When I was feeling blue or depressed, they brought me out quickly. Thank you for that and your music and oh the crushes I had on the brothers. Forgot which one. Probably all of them at one time or another. lol
