Her retiring probably has more to do with political maneuvering than gridlock. Biden has been warning the democrats there's a chance they will lose the Senate this fall. Since she's more of a RINO, perhaps she was persuaded or promised something if she chose to step down, and no doubt, so a democrat could take her seat. Even so, that still may not be enough to save the Senate for Harry Reid and the democrats.

She voted NO on Obamacare! And as for the trade war, it's already happening. We just aren't fighting back! China is spewing their cheap crap all over our department stores, and our unemployment rate remains stubbornly above 8%.
