A Jobromance Chapter 11

*Joe and Becca stayed at the pool for about an hour before getting bored and starting to walk back to their rooms*
Joe: We were thinking of watching movies tonight. Is that okay?
Becca: Sure! You know what we should watch? (AN: Can you only guess?)
Joe: What?
Becca: Titanic.
Joe: You mean that click-flick with all the kissing?
Becca: It’s not a chick-flick!
Joe: *Sarcastically* Right…
Becca: We’re watching it.
Joe: How do you know everyone else will wanna watch it?
Becca: It’s Ashley’s, Ali’s, and my favorite movie, so they’ll definitely wanna watch it.
Joe: Well, what about Nick, Kevin, and I?
Becca: *Laughing* Like you guys have a say in anything!
Joe: *Brings his hand to his mouth* What?
Becca: *Still laughing* I was joking.
Joe: Nope, you have to make it up to me.
Becca: And how do you suppose I would do that?
Joe: Hmmmm…how about this? *He kisses her for a few seconds and then pulls away.*
Becca: Okay, that’ll work. *Puts her arms around his neck and kisses him* All better?
Joe: I guess…
Becca: *Laughs and takes his hand* Come on, lover boy, we have to get back to our rooms.

*On the way upstairs, they run into Nick and Ali. (AN: Not, like, literally run into them. They just see them.)*
Ali: *Runs up and hugs Becca* Hi, hi, hi!
Becca: I haven’t seen you in, like, forever!
Ali: It’s been, like, hours!
Becca: I, like, know!
Ali: You know, we, like, really have to stop saying ‘like’.
Becca: We should, like, totally do that.
Ali: But we’re probably, like, not gonna.
Becca: Like, probably not.
Nick: Shouldn’t we, like, go in the room? Ugh, you guys have me saying it too.
Ali: *Laughing* Come on, let’s go.
*They walk in the room just as Kevin and Ashley are coming in from the connecting door. Ali and Becca run up and hug Ashley.*
Ali&Becca: Ashley!
Joe: *Mumbling* Here we go again…
Ashley: Hi!
Ali: We havn’t seen you in, like, forever!
Becca: It’s been, like, hours!
*The three of them jump onto Becca’s bed and start talking, all at the same time*
Ashley: Kevin said he loves me!
Ali: Nick thinks Titanic is girly!
Becca: Joe is so hot without a shirt on!
*They all stop, look at each other, and take in the news.*
Ali: Kevin said he loves you?
Ashley: Yep! We went to the very front of the boat (AN: is the front the bow or the stern…??) and he did the whole Titanic thing and he said it.
Becca: He did the Titanic thing?
Ashley: Yeah! It was so romantic! But I was, like, in shock and I didn’t say anything and he took it the wrong way and left.
Ali: You didn’t say anything?!
Ashley: But I came and talked to him and now it’s all better.
Becca: He did the Titanic thing?
Ashley&Ali: YES!
Ashley: Speaking of Titanic, we so have to watch it tonight!! Kevin thinks it’s girly too.
Becca: Joe said it was a chick-flick.
Ali: Well, that’s too bad, because we’re watching it. Speaking of Joe…
Becca: He is so hot!!!
*Joe, Nick and Kevin look from one to another and then to the girls.*
Joe: How do you girls say so much in so little time?
