I've been using this method for a while now...since you gave me the idea on....now with the changes that they're about to do...no matter what we try, even rabbit ears nothing will work anymore....sometimes it makes you want to hate technology....it's just not fair for everybody......

why pay for tv when you can use your good old ways to build antennas
-
there are tubed hd's but the highest they get is 720p for higher you gotta get LCD, Plasma, or rear projection.
-
cool post, where do u live, how many channels do u get, what equip do u use
-
local NFL, NHL & NBA? WTF!? Where do you live? I thought those were channels one must pay for. Unless it''s on FOX or ABC.
-
is that tv analog?!

I approve the coat hanger antenna as it works really well with my hdtv! After watching the local and US shows, plus NFL, NHL and NBA in HD glory, damn it's hard to go back to standard definition.
I think it even turned me into some kind of HD snob!!!!!!!!!!!

Buy a dtv converter box, and use "video out" - the picture is DVD quality, and amazing.
The RCA DTA800 is an excellent converter box is just about everywhere.
$50.

It would be even better if you were using a digital TV.

I can only imagine, I got extra credit for my wireless networking class for this. I can't wait to get a Digital TV? Any suggestions for a 42" or higher?

42" and Higher ANY HDTV projector type Full HD 1080, most of them easy to set at corners, and the most important they spent 1/3 of electricity vs a PLASMA or LCD. HDTV projector also are 40% to 60% cheaper than LCD & PLASMA
