I have had a lot of comments on this video regarding something about a Columbine school massacre. Let me clarify that this video was made for the purposes of entertainment, and not of mockery or offense.
The meaning of this great song has only come to my attention because of the comments I have been receiving. I quote from Wikipedia: "The song was written by keyboardist/bandleader Tuomas Holopainen and is about the Columbine high school massacre."
Perhaps I had not realized this since, ironically, I have not understood the lyrics. But now that I do, I do not regret creating this video, so I shall not remove or adapt it. The song itself was made for entertainment purposes, and so is this adaptation.
The people that have complained about the adaptation of "Nightwish Kinslayer - The Misheard Lyrics", have yet to provide a valid reason for which this video is a direct offense. We may use this song to remember this tragedy, but let us appreciate it as a truly great piece of music also, one which we can, separately from its deep meaning; "mishear", for our own entertainment.
