  • YouTube has flagged this video as infringing on copyright. Why?

  • whats ash wednesday even about, and why is this such a problem?

  • @7thDayofGrace It is a pagan ritual dressed up as Christian by the Catholic church.

  • All I can say is that we all need to read and study our Bibles and pray to and listen to the Lord expecially in these last days when there is confusion even in the remnant church...but remember, God has His people all over the world and they will seek His truth and be faithful to it!

God bless all those on the narrow road :-)

  • I am an ex-cath, i come from both parents raised in generations of cath faith but I had turned away from the church in 94 and been a full practicing christian now for almost a yr. Ash wed is NOT a ancient christian ritual!Didn't Jesus say don't be like the pagans, wearing ash and sackcloth?cath love to look "holy" wearing that ash all day on their foreheads, sometimes not washing it off for a cpl of days! The only ritual we should honor is baptism, break bread/wine. Read NT, no mention of ashes

  • @hughharman

It wasn't a candlestick stand though and that is the point. It was a lamp stand and they used olive oil to lights.

  • @daro2096 This is a strange comment - what about the 7 branch candlestick in the Hebrew temple?

  • If a ritual has christian rather than pagan origins and serves a good purpose, than what's the problem with it? The symbol of wearing ash as a symbol of humility and repentance has old testament origins. Do some research before you post negative comments.

  • @rafyzz

    Olive oil.
