As much as I love Meryl Streep (alot), I really think Glenn Close is going to take best actress (never thought I would say that), but her performance in Albert Nobbs is stellar.

Streep should give up acting in parts where she tries to slander anyone right of her fascist, progressive views. This movie is made by a lefty producer with a lefty cast so they can depict one of the most important people of our time. Too bad they can't find a better way to spend their useless time. What a boorish bunch of bitter bomb throwers. The New York Times and Time magazine like this film? Really! They are even worse people than Streep and Damian Jones.
