Great books and everything, but could they not have come up with a plausible idea for the plague or simply ignored the biology? Nonsensical stuff like that just makes it difficult to take the story seriously.

I originally had plans to put all those characters into the animation, but I unfortunately didn't include the title card they were on because of some compression/animation issues I had before I turned in the final product. In this version I cast:
Jennifer Connely as Hero Brown
Kristen Bell as Beth1
Mary McDonnell as Senator Brown
I didn't really plan on this title sequence being for something that would encompass the entire series, so those later appearing characters weren't cast.
