When I first created this video, I just wanted to imitate that of "The Wizard of Oz"/Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon" film/music "experimentation"...& I uploaded it, targeting the fans of Philippine band "Eraserheads", like me, who are unaware or haven't even seen the movie. I just wanted to show them a glimpse of the movie which title was the inspiration for the band's name. That was it!
Surprisingly, all these "David Lynch" fanatics & so-called indie film/art "experts" have posted negative comments, accusing me of "ruining" their sacred movie! Well, if that was my intention, I could've easily used some nasty death metal & grindcore music, right? But no, the clip was carefully made. I spent a long time trying to get a near-perfect sync; I made sure the music did not drown the movie's original audio track (I even turned up the volume during the dialogues, including the dog's barking!); I even made sure proper credits and info were presented in the opening & end credits...plus they say the music/band "sucks"! Well, they might have "heard" it but I don't think they've "listened" to it! I wonder if they really think that or they're just being prejudice or "racist" to the music/band from a "third world" country? I will never know. I wonder if they'd think otherwise if I used, let's say, the music of Radiohead or Sigur Ros? I will never know. I'm not here to defend my all-time favorite Filipino band but if you're curious enough, just Google or Wiki it!...or go to my fansite: eheads-offline.com
So all you "close-minded, haters &/or racist" David Lynch fans & film/art experts, just feel free to comment whatever you like. I could care less! It's a free "Universe"!

i love the movie and the music isnt bad, but i think you are showing your close-mindedness by saying people who don't like the music are prejudice against it because they're filipino. everyone is entitled to their own opinion and there's a number of things in your description that lead me to believe that you are just as if not more closed minded than the people you speak out against.
