随着去年成功引起追看风潮的本地电视剧《小娘惹》在本地大受欢迎，新传媒至今已成功将该剧的播映版权售至香港、柬埔寨、马来西亚等各地，而接下来，新传媒将带着《小娘惹》­出席一年一度于法国康城举办的MIPTV（法国康城电视节）电视展；届时，剧中两位主角欧萱及戚玉武，将代表全体演员出席交流会及一些列宣传活动，希望能借此机会将《小娘­惹》销到欧洲市场！

由于《小娘惹》口碑佳、海外版权询问度高，新传媒打铁趁热，将带《小娘惹》赴本届康城电视展，为了配合当地的宣传活动，我们已为《小娘惹》配音，届时将现场播出部分片段。­此外，欧萱和戚玉武将换上剧中的娘惹服装，出席宣传活动。希望能借此机会让外地国家能更了解娘惹文化，也希望能凭《小娘惹》打进欧洲市场。

CANNES, France: It may be about 13 degrees Celsius in the southeastern French coastal city of Cannes, but that did not stop the stars of local hit series, "The Little Nyonya", from turning up in costumes for photographers at the international TV content trade show, MIPTV.

The Mandarin drama series has been purchased by broadcasters and distributors in China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Vietnam and the United States.

In fact, fans who cannot get enough of the show will be glad to know that MediaCorp will be staging a Peranakan-themed musical on May 16.

Some of the stars from "The Little Nyonya" will sing and dance on stage along with veteran MediaCorp artistes.

Jeanette Aw and Dai Yang Tian will headline this musical with other artistes such as Xiang Yun, Ann Kok, Rayson Tan, Ben Yeo and Brandon Wong, as well as Project Superstar's Chen Di Ya and Carrie Yeo.
