hoe tall is he cuz im 5 feet and my dad says that an 85 will be too big??? do you think it would

At the time I believe he was around 4'8" and the bike fit him well. He wasn't allowed to race it until he could pick it up and start it himself.

It's not about height as much as it is about ability. You're dad is right... because he's your dad. He could also be saying that because you're just not ready for an 85 yet. Trust him, he knows what's best!

yeah this will be my first bike so should i go with a 65???

It depends... If your going to ride for fun or race. I would start you out with a 4-stroke play/trail bike like a KLX140 or Yamaha TTR125. They're MUCH less maintenance and easy to handle & get used to. The KX is a race bike and has lots of power but it also can be scary power to get used to.

You're too big for a 65 due to your height and could get hurt because of it. Your knees will hit the bars in corners. Also the weight limit on a 65 is around 100 pounds so keep that in mind.

yeah im over 100 but my dad says that the crf is too big for me the cf 100 cuz i went to sit on it and couldnt touch the ground

Yeah but you will soon enough... If you can touch with one foot you should be fine. If you're 5' tall then you should be able to ride it just fine. Good luck

IM 13 and ride A yz125 and race ive had it scince i was 11

im 14 years old and have a yzf 250 , it is too big for me but i continue to ride it , i dont know why i do but i have been oferd a 125 which is the right height for me but i said no because i like the thrill and the speed of my mx bike

having watched 199 lives yesterday (Travis Pastrana's life story) i can really see a similarity here. He's got definite talent, and i look forward to seeing him in the future beating some of the top riders at age 15.
