here you will see part one of the review for collin mcrae DiRT 2. in the review, i did not mentioned the online modus, but there is ofcourse a online mode, where you can choose between ranked or player match. then you get to pick one of the 3 diciplines to race (no collisions time trial based races, collision races where you start at the same time, and more different things like gate crasher). ofcourse you can also choose to do them all. this is the first collin mcrae game where you can actually see your opponents, but codemasters have done a great job. everything works well, finding a match is fast and easy, and so far, i have yet to come across problems.

  • Lol!! "I put it on easy because racing and reviewing is not easy"

  • @melchicd3 LOL, It sounds fun, but with some games, when i try to talk about the game and play at the same time, usually i play a lot worce than usuall, so i put the game on the most easy setting, so even after some mistakes, i would still win :-D

  • @xLEEDx hahaha, my pc is way to old to keep on gaming on it. and i'm saving up for a new drumkit, so a new pc have to wait a bit longer :-D

  • @xLEEDx thanks. and do you like the game just like i do ? :-D

  • hey Herbarius, when i wanted to click on "answer", i pressed by accident the thumb down button. this i never ment to do, as i found your answer verry helpfull i hope other viewers will click on the thumbs up, so the - sign dissapears.

ps: my pc won't let me work with the file my camera makes, so i can't lay a new sound track on it. also my camera has no seperate mic in socket. but when i get me a new pc, i will certainly give it a try. thanks for the advice, and again, sorry for my mistake.

  • try to experiment with different volume settings on the microphone and different distances of the microphone when you're talking...

or maybe another, better microphone entirely, that can be put further away and it's still not too quiet

also, maybe use editing software, i.e. don't record video and audio at the same time but first play the game and record it, cut the video, if necessary. Then record the talking. and before putting both together cut the audio to remove the most embarassing sounds.

  • sure i do, but only if my "slissing" problem is solved, as not only myself, but also my viewers tends to find it anoying :-)

got anny sugestions ? if i got the game, i will do so :-) how cool is that, review on request ;-) thanks for replying.

  • Thanks for clearing that up and I hope you continue to make videos like this.

Will you do more classic game videos, like you did with the Sega Ages collection, in the future, too?

  • hahaha, i've been listening to my own review, and i noticed what you heared.

i just made a mistake as playing and reviewing at the same times sometimes does not go well :-) this game has no errors, but i did said so :-P i ment to say "i made a error", at that corner. so no worries, this game is still the bomb !

  • I don't get that part where you talk about errors in the game...

"It's not like there's an error in this game, but to me Colin McRae Rallye is all about errors."

    Or did you say "arrows"?

"It's not like there's an arrow in this game, but to me Colin McRae Rallye is all about arrows."

Either way, I doesn't make sense to me... Maybe you can explain it?

Apart from that, good review, as are the other of your reviews I watched.
