The GRR-Ripper 200 from Micro Jig does a great job making very thin cuts on the table saw safe and easy. Not only can this 3D push block system be used on a table saw, but is very useful with router table cuts, Joiner work, and some band saw applications to name a few. The GRR-Rippers 200 can be configured and used in a huge number of ways. Oh yea, its made in the USA too.

When you use a table saw, it doesn't matter what safety gadgest you are using. The rule not to forget is, do not stand in line with the blade. Stand to one side of the blade. Then if there IS a kickback, you will not be in line with it. My highschool shop teacher told us what kickback is, then showed us. We were impressed. Then he told us, never stand behind the blade. I'm 72 now, and never had kickback yet, and also never stand behind the blade.

    Part 1

On the Bosch GTS1031 place the riving knife in the center position if you are cutting material 1 3/4" or less in height, top position for for thicker wood.

There is no need for the anti-kick back paws or the 2 smart guard arms if you are using the Gripper with this saw.

    Part 2

Note: You are limited to a stack dado set of 1/2" wide, so to do a 3/4" wide dado you will need to make 2 passes across your dado set.

I ordered 3- Blank Inserts, 1 for 1/8" regular kerf blade, 1 for thin kerf blade, 1- for the stack dado set.
