how do get your toms to sound so good
can tell me how to stop the overtone( ringing )

Honestly the reason I think my toms dont have a ringing noise is because I tuned them kinda flat. When you tune it tighter it seems to ring more, so I tune just to the point where I see no wrinkles on my drum heads, and maybe a turn or two more. That pretty much works for me. Hope this helps.
