I just got back from vacation, so I thought i would make you guys a video. well, i couldn't seem to get through it because this happened. that's my mom for you, in one of her more tame moments.

It's funny how instruments are treated differently by society.

If you were playing the piano, or the trombone, or the violin, etc she would be oh so proud and brag to all of her friends how her little boy is going to be in a famous orchestra. But since it's a guitar, she immediately sees no value in it, even though the chances of you being able to live off of your guitar playing and a violinist being able to live off their playing is about the same, if not in favor of the guitarist.

@Moose1015 You are totally right. It's strange how in society, any music that is not in the mainstream or any instrument that is not over 300 years old is looked down upon. I value all types of music. I may not like them all or listen to them all, but I give them credit for what they are: a person's creative expression. That's really what it boils down to. Some people don't see that, like my mom, who took my guitars off somewhere a few days ago for me to not see again for I don't know how long.
