I don't think you realize the full gravity of the situation when your commanding officers tell you to go against this oath. The press aren't around anymore, to report these issues you have to go through the chain of command, aka, commanding officers, and if you do this you will more than likely wind up in military prison, dishonorably discharged, or you'll get fragged. All you can do is fold your hands and say nothing.

@totoynani143 So you want me to move because my president is doing unconstitutional and international law breaking (that is reason to stay)? You choose to go over there, for whatever reason. I don't care what Iraqis, Afghanis, Pakistanis, or Libyans want. These wars that you support are bankrupting the country you are going home to and obviously not defending (making enemies). When we "win" what do Americans gain? If you didn't receive your check, would you still fight in principle?

Killing innocent people... besides killing in general is mentally something people can't imagine. On top of that, it's criminal to kill anyone innocent. Also, this war is politically sketchy and our intentions are a bit skewed. Now just with this little background knowledge imagine being the man who picks up the rifle and contributes to this... Would you feel proud when you went to bed? This war isn't protecting us it's creating people who hate us.

and then when we are they will bring us to the detention centers. They are waiting for the perfect time to do this though. and don't think that they arent scared to kill some of us to make it seem as if its for the good of the country. idk if you are an ex military or not but returning vets from war are considered to be high suspects for so called terrorism and are immediately placed on terrorist watch lists. I don't think everyone in the military is brainwashed either.

@Jmbk7278 First of all i called them brainwashed morons because if you cant figure out the truth that this country is not run by the same principles it was first established by and that they are taking away more and more of our rights everyday then why in the world would you fight for these people? And to why they would declare martial law is because look at what they are doing by taking away our rights, they are getting us used to just doing what we are told
