A Book Talk with "Mr. Public Citizen," Ralph Nader, was held on Friday evening, Dec. 16, 2011, at Busboys & Poets in Washington, D.C. His latest tome is entitled: "Getting Steamed to Overcome Corporatism: Build It Together to Win." During the Q&A session, Nader had high praise for the "Occupy Movement." He also said that he can envision Libertarians, authentic Conservatives and Liberals/Progressives "converging" around issues, such as: stopping the wars, ending the Empire and curbing the predatory tactics of giant corporations and multinationals.

  • It's time for Ralph Nader to REALLY show he cares and back RON PAUL.

  • @CDBBryan

Good god, dismissing the Occupy Movement and acting like Howard Zinn is vile & un-American. Go watch some more Glen Beck clips, tool!

  • I watched this on C-SPAN/Book TV, the complete program is 90 minutes.

I hope at some point someone downloads the full 90 minutes.

I'm put off by Nader's blind praise of the tremendously flawed Occupy Wall Street movement, that is filled with CPUSA, unions, MoveOn, ACORN, and other partisan-left organizations, who self-servingly feed off the existing system.

Nader also praises Howard Zinn, whose A PEOPLE'S HISTORY OF THE U.S is likewise vile in its anti-amercanism, much not sourced.

  • How is it that people will listen to all sorts of insane nonsense from wingnut politicians but they won't listen to common sense from Ralph Nader? We really need unity outside the corporate establishment to make things happen.

  • @mistermassive1 I understand everything Ralph says in this video and heard nothing seriously bad for audio quality; not as has happened with other videos anyway.

  • @cyberjltoo Listen to and do as Nader says. If you don't, then you'll be complicit, just like he says. The NDAA won't prevent anyone from for candidates opposed to the NDAA.

  • Nader is a great man who should have been President a long time ago. But instead America Inc. always manages to install the two-party dictatorship fascists to keep their power and control over we the people. Maybe a united movement like Ralph mentions is what it will take.

  • @mistermassive1 yes,just wish the sound was better,too bad...

  • With Obama signing the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). I don't think I can be complicit any longer. What to do , what to do, what to do....

  • stop banging the GD dishes!!
