I Don't Want to Grow Up

When I was young it was the best of times
I felt so free
I remember I could taste the sunshine
Life was simple but yet some complicated to me

I remember when ever day was an adventure
How exciting was the kiss
I remember racing the wind
And never having anything I missed.

I remember when friends were friends
And the times when secrets were forever
I remember the summer's whispers
which promised that the present will last forever

I remember heart ache
For simple moral unjust
I remember when terror was for spiders
Not for blood greed or lust

I hope I never forget the sight of my past
I hope I always remember and innocence will last
I pray were all friends again
And theres never a time to re- begin
