The movie was fantasic, some of it was different from the book, but overall amazing and well done. The paranormal idea behind being youthful forever due to a portrait and deal, and the essence of the Victorian Era gave me chills. Is the download site posted in the video description safe? Virus free?

The person who says the film is gay ass stuff has missed the point of the film.

It's the decadence, the debauchery, the desperation of the people having to make money by any means from their bodies, the nature of the opium dens that give the film its darkness.

I didn't find it easy viewing but I couldn't resist watching it to the end. And it did make my flesh creep, with its insidious nastiness.

Good film though.
