Inhofe Welcomes Viewers from Tulsa's Channel 6 News

Sen. Inhofe: Hello Channel 6 News viewers, and welcome to my newest YouTube channel.

I believe creating a top-notch website and YouTube channel provides the public more direct information and allows for greater access to their elected representatives.

My goal has always been to bring our government closer to the people and allows for more feedback from our constituents.

So far, the response has been overwhelmingly popular.
Already thousands have logged on to see my Youtube messages about global warming alarmism, my opposition to massive government bailouts, and been the first to hear my reasons for opposing President Obamas nominees for Treasury and Attorney General.

My latest video came from a highly unlikely place, Guantanamo Bay, Cuba where I was yesterday on a mission to make the argument for keeping it open.

Today, information is being exchanged at faster rates than ever before and I appreciate the importance of using all means of communication, from snail mail to Twitter, as a way to stay in touch with Oklahomans back home. With that in mind, I am particularly proud that my website has been called one of the top 4 on Capitol Hill.
