A photo montage of Gareth's life and exploits set to the music of one of his favourite tracks: Baz Luhrmann's Everybody's Free to Wear Sunscreen. Gareth was one of the youngest ever Directors of the Ford Motor Company. He died on 29 December 2006 from chemotherapy complications. Compiled by one of his good friends: Wobbly from a selection of photos sent in by many other good friends. The photos can also be seen here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/garethkingdon/. • bombay mix?

  • One of the chaps on the stag night went round the nightclub offering an ash tray to people saying "Bombay mix?" Apparently he got some takers. Probably very irresponsible, but it was funny.

  • Found out on Friday 28/1/11 while talking about the 'old days' at the Inland Revenue about Gareth - I was stunned and upset, cant believe it! Didnt know him 4long, but he was one of he nicest people. We used 2call him 'Bambi eyes'! as thats the 1st thing we noticed about him. With me be Indian he was very intrigued with my culture & we used 2talk for hours. Have been watching the videos & felt so touched as they truly reflect the person he was. May God give all his family & friends peace. Ama x
