divinely ordained is this woman ... i am humbled to see this and am going immediately to Amazon to purchase this book ... what a role model for us all ... time to drop the illusion of separation and embrace that we are all indeed one ... bless you Ms. Finney!! ♥((✿◠‿◠))♥❀

I was just alerted to this acceptance speech and I must say I am so glad to have heard it. She talks in cadence, rhyme, lyric and it makes all her words more intense and clear. That she is a professor at the University of Kentucky(my home state and my alma mater) just adds to the pleasure of knowing a bit of her spirit. I have read some of her poetry and now I know I will be reading it more and following her creativity as long as I can..
