John Richardson demonstrates how to you should be able to adjust the grip height for all of your wedges. For each wedge you can easily determine different distances by moving your grip down towards the steel shaft. Thus you can take the standard grip for one position, then move it down by an inch for another position and then a final one by moving another inch. You can easily work out your distances for each wedge by hitting 5 shots with each grip position. By gripping down you will increase your feel and control and ultimately give yourself greater confidence around the greens.

This also translates to longer clubs where gripping down by one inch reduces the distance of the shot by about ten yards.
