Camrose Cat Killers make court

Defence lawyers for two teenage boys say they expected their clients to be sentenced today on break and enter and animal cruelty charges so they can get on with their lives. But instead, a judge in Camrose, Alberta has ordered the boys to undergo psychiatric assessments prior to another court hearing September 4th. A Crown attorney successfully argued that more needs to be known about the boys' mental states. The 15 and 16-year-olds pleaded guilty last month to breaking into a home in Camrose twice last December and microwaving a cat to death.

So what exactly would make a bad person if putting a cat in a microwave and listening to it scream for 10 minutes as it is dying one of the worst deaths imaginable?
