Just a question about questioning that which we are told to be and the refusal of some to allow others to think that which is against their belief in how we should see things!

  • Have u heard of the author, Zechariah Sitchin? He wrote a series of history books called The Earth Chronicles. The first book in the series is called "The 12th Planet". I am confident that if u at least read that first book your theory on the origins of religion and the origins of the human race will rapidly change. I insist you read that book.

  • I thank you for your suggestion, I will certainly read Zecharia Sitchin

But I have not stated any theory here, this is a 57 second video, and it asks a question which is design to provoke thought, I find the thoughts of others very interesting but I will always remain my own judge of that which is impossible to know.

And never follow just man's or groups dogma on any subject, all that said however I am sure that the 12th Planet will provide reflective thought.

    I suggest you consider this.

  • It would seem that the God presented in the indoctrination process does not want man/woman to think - unless it is simply repetition of the indoctrination (what to think, rather than just plain old think)

  • I can not remember who it was that said.

"God made man in his own imagine and than man returned the favour" The whole God concept problem is that it has been created and modelled by man in order to control other men! That is why I find that many who the quote the bible are blinded by the fingers of the the writes, which where men this is clear because GOD would never have contradicted himself so much in the same book. Genesis 1.1 vs 1.2 just as a start.

  • Religion does tend to be to ruin of good philosophy!

  • Thanx for considering my suggestion. "The 12th Planet" will completely blow away anyones mind when it comes to what ancient texts were actually trying to explain about what happened in ancient times. Some of what Zechariah Sitchin writes may seem outrageous at first but it is all eloquently explained and backed up by exhaustive amounts of facts & evidence. But what may be adequate facts & evidence for me may not be 4 someone else and that is why I always suggest people read it for themselves.

  • Some obscure, mystical traditions like the kaballah suggested; rather then the forbidden fruit result in the: 'guilt of eternal burning and punishment' Satan & God Co-Conspired in a Good-Cop/Bad-Cop way...to help us become the creative, free-thinkin' individuals each of us have/had/has the capacity to develop...

  • My reply: Religion is a sham, god may exist, but "it" ain't a Nazi, free thought is like a funnel- lets a steady stream through from a higher place, Not a hose that gets kinked. And sometimes people are just lazy so take it easy like luigi said, lazy people are people, most of the time! One thing else, why did religion evolve? Because it wanted followers! Hence people who have religious views based on common jesus story book for children, aren't leaders.

  • Having the ability to make moral decisions is the sin. Isn't that what you gain when you learn good from evil?

Check out my video "God Hates Morals," where I show that God prefers sociopaths.
