1962 (BW) Civil rights riots in Georgia; black man in suit shoved by police (at night); repeatedly hit; middle aged black man arrested brutally; people chant non-violently; clap; black man with sunglasses sings and claps as he's arrested. Woman carried off by hands and feet by police; men dragged off by police, shoved, kicked, beaten, thrown against patty wagon.

Martin Luther King Jr.'s 1968 "I've been to the mountaintop" speech (excerpt).

King marches, segregated entrance signs "Blacks Only"; black man drinks from "Colored Only" water fountain; black man eats at white lunch counter.

Black people protest against segregation; marches with sign "1960 not 1860". Black men enters "White Only" waiting room; woman arrested; Women with "Keep Alabama White" signs; firemen hose down black protesters; set dogs on protesters, carry protesters away.
