Blind Guy Vlog 1 Intro

I talk about the fact that I am legally blind. I prefer disabled rather than handicapped. I believe that handicapped has a negative connotation in society. I also feel that disabled people in the United States are being treated like racial minorities where fifty years ago. I believe the only way to overcome that stereotype is to do as much as I can as an independent person. I feel that if I can do that in some small way here on Youtube I might encourage others to step up to the plate and be counted for positive change in todays society. I talk about my work and how it can be rewarding and stressful at the same time. It is my Friday so I enjoy some beer.
