Huyton Asphalt - NV11 OWK - Thug Driver

This close pass got a shout, as you would expect, but this did not compute well with driver of Huyton Asphalt's company vehicle. He decided to stop, swerve onto a cycle path, which is illegal, and then have a got a me.

When it is clear that I wont stick around for some abuse, he gets out of his van and walks down the road towards me, while the traffic watches and waits for this moron to see sense, but he persists, shouting swear words, and that he is "coming to get me".

I make good on the gas but he follows and catches up at a roundabout, where he shouts more abuse at me, calling me a "shitbag" amongst other sweet-nothings.

All of this with his wife and young (about 2 years old) son in the company vehicle. How proud wife and son must be of their thug daddy, who can chuck swear words round like sweets.

How proud Huyton Asphalt must be of their thug employee, who uses a company vehicle to throw his weight around. I wonder what they will make of this video....

@tfxjames123 A cycle lane which the law says I dont have to use if I dont want to. That does not excuse the driver's shocking driving and terrbile knuckle-dragger attitude.

Watched this twice.

The first time through i didn't register how he drove right up onto the bike lane to intimidate you.

His behvaiour is mental and he should not be on the roads.

That's easily enough for the police to put a s59 warning on - which applies to both the driver AND the vehicle. So Huyton Asphalt would be better off sacking him before he gets their vehicle confiscated.

I hope the police have been informed, as well as his employers.

Police - no question, I had a similar thing happen with a WVM and the feds went round to his house within minutes to give him a good talking to. They returned to my house with an apology within the hour.

Point out to the police that, as well as the close pass, he is also guilty of a public order offence (Section 4 of the 1986 Public Order Act). Don't get fobbed off with traffic police for this, the greater crime is the public order one...

For what is is worth, I just sent Huyton Asphalt an e-mail suggesting that they search the title of this video on the web and or here on You Tube.
