  • Great pics, info, music ... but the narration really detracts from it. Makes it hard to enjoy.

Hmmmm... after watching it again, he's speaking pretty slow in this one... I had to stretch it out because YouTube kept blocking the audio when it was able to identify any of it.

Until i get time to narrate them myself, we’ll all have to put up with U.K. Pete.

  • HORRID NARRATION

  • where did the name angela park orignate from?

  • @Mad24680 My initial inclination is to tell you what I tell my home-schooled kids… “Look it up”.

It’s actually in the narration – but to save you time, it was the family matriarch. She passed before getting to see its completion.

  • Sad story. I remember going to visit my grandmother during the summers and all of us going there. I used to love that pool...

  • I was shocked when the park closed..I grew up there. Camped there with the girl scouts and churches. So sad they couldn't keep it going. I have wonderful memories :)

  • As a child, my late-wife visited Angela Park through the early '70s with her parents, uncles, aunts and grandmother. There exists some old 8 mm home movies of smiles in sun-dappled glades which contrast with the sad afterglow of the scenes in this excellent video montage. For me there's something sacrosanct about this location that even 'progress' cannot remove.

  • this is a shame a new park should be reopened
