Charlottesville High School Marching Band - 1984 VBODA West

V.B.O.D.A. State Marching Festival-West, October 20, 1984. Charlottesville H.S. Marching Black Knights from Charlottesville, Virginia perfoming in state championship competition at William Byrd H.S. Stadium in Vinton, VA. The band's repertoire included: Pictures of Spain, Malaga, Carmina Burana-Movement VI, Russian Sailors Dance and Spirit of the Bull.

@nashvillepuma I don't have any other video performances of CHS at this point. However the JWHS Band Alumni Organization is searching for videos from our past and sometimes we come across recordings with multiple bands in competition. Since JWHS competed with CHS often in the 80's (and perhaps even the 90's) there is a possibility I'll come across others. If so I'll be sure to let you know.

I do have an audio recording of CHS from the 1981 VBODA State marching Festival.

@AllanRodgers my brother was...any chance you have the previous or following year performances (or any other performances of Charlottesville High School)? Would be great to see them! I was a member of the CHS band in the mid 90s.
