From the October 7 edition of Premiere Radio Networks' The Rush Limbaugh Show:
"LIMBAUGH: It's not reasonable that you should understand the insanity that local and state and federal bureaucracies are doing. It's perfectly normal and understandable that none of what they do would make sense to you. My question -- OK, a 1 cent sales tax to fight gang violence. What do you spend the money on to fight gang violence? Afterschool program -- don't we already have afterschool programs? Don't we already have -- what do you call it, extracurricular events? Midnight basketball -- I mean, we've done it all. We've taken the favorite sport of gangs, and we put it at midnight to get them on the basketball court."

  • Seems reasonable to me, what he said. I don't see how he is a fascist... Oh wait I see, practical observations with racialist undertones = racist = Nazi = fascist...? Well, I'm a racialist and not a fascist... so, by the way, were all early 20th century progressives, and even Marxists, not to mention every American leader prior to 1960. : )

  • In England he would be called a wank, or a fascist. Either way, same pedophile.

  • WoW.....

  • yeah rush cause people cant get shot in the head

  • Being given due process before execution and how someone is executed are 2 separate matters. You are equating a country that lacks the former with western countries. I have never been a big believer that the death penalty deters anyone. I support it for the sole reason of retribution. But regardless of your view on the death penalty I dont see any moral difference between doing it privately or publicly.

  • If the government kills a mass murderer, a child rapist or a traitor, it is not murder. It is legal killing and it's good for society. We have gang leaders in prison who order people outside of prison killed. These gang leaders should be hanged to send a message to all criminals to abandon their theft, murder and rape habits and to respect the property and person of others. What's indecent is to give room and board to gang leaders who run criminal enterprises from behind bars.

  • Your argument is illogical. Having committed one evil in the past doesn't justify institutionalizing another. I don't want my kids to turn on the television and see our government murdering people. It isn't something decent people display proudly.

  • Those places run out of food, and alot of government programs don't work as nearly as good as they should. Take food stamps for example we used to get them but they cut us off because we had "too much money coming in" even though we could barely afford to get even the smallest rations. Point is all of these programs are flawed in some way and until these flaws are fixed people will be forced to do things that they know are wrong but also are necessary.

  • There are food banks, soup kitchens, government agencies and churches with programs--all meant to feed the hungry. It may not be the best quality food, but it's there if families need it. There's no reason to take the property of others. I'm getting a vibe from you that you're not the type to steal anyway.

  • Now your twisting my words around, I never said it was right I said it was justified. People who resort to crime know it's the wrong thing to do but they also know that doing the right thing wont do what needs to be done.

And I've gave money to people struggling to buy food for there kids just because I knew I didn't NEED the money I worked for unlike them considering I'm only 18.
