The Scarlet Ibis Movie

The original short film I edited was 13 minutes long, so I had to cut a few scenes out (youtube won't allow videos over 10 minutes). I made this with my friend who is a senior in high school and he is studying to become a director (so his camera work is very good). It took 2 weeks to film this.

Alright, everyone. This was a short film created my freshman year of highschool for an English class project. I know that Doodle was a boy...my actor wasn't able to show up, so I was the only person who could take the role. Thanks to all of you who do have supportive comments and don't complain about Doodle being a girl, haha :)!

We read the original piece in class yesterday and had a quiz on it today... (I didn't do very well :P). You know, Animetalchick, I too would want to be a director one day, although I don't think it's possible...

@LittleSparkleJD Thanks :)! It is possible for you to be a director, but you just need to have connections. Unfortunately, it's all about luck in the movie business (my parents both work there.) It took me 2 weekends to film this. I was also rushing, because I was Doodle last minute and I REALLY did not want to be him xD. Good luck on your films!

@XxKillockxX Thank you :D it was for my english class. Actually, the boys were just the actors (except for me who had to play as doodle last minute.) I was the director and editor of this and I'm the girl.
