Born and raised in Haiti, Djenane Saint Juste moved to San Francisco in 2009 & founded Afoutayi Dance, Music & Arts Company shortly thereafter. She has since been educating and sharing her message of love through Haitian culture, music, and dance. Djenane teaches twice weekly in San Francisco's Mission District, backed by intense live, exotic tribal rhythms by an eclectic group of incredible drummers, percussionists, and singers, it is an experience this video truly cannot do justice.
