@datguy781 Good luck and have fun camping. It's a great way to field test your gear.

@TangoTracker223 I hope I have good one. I plan on going camping about the 15th of this month. I will check the reception out in the woods if it isn't reasonable I will call their customer service. Thanks for the heads up on some of the issues I also noticed the knobs felt cheap and delicate. Thanks for commenting!

I contacted Eton and they are sending me the newer model free of charge. I believe it's the FR600 with digital tuner. They admitted this model has problems.
Their radios aren't great, but their customer service is top notch.
In closing, if I had to do it again, I'd invest my money into a better quality unit like a Sangean or similar.
Thanks for your review. I hope you have better luck with yours than I did with mine.

I just bought this unit over the internet and received it last week. This unit is garbage!
The siver knobs are cheap "flash molded" and they feel like cheap "made in China" junk.
The other problem I had is the tuner- it "drifts" off frequency very bad. I live close by two large powerful AM and FM radio broadcast stations. This radio struggles to pull in the signals.
The radio features are excellent for emergency preparedness: LED light, hand crank power, charge cell phones etc.

the older ones are better as the solar panel is weak, the LCD display sucks up too much power, and knobs feel cheap. i gave mine away
nice review though

@datguy781 No instruction manual....Also when I plugged it it, it wont play like a normal radio...but the emergency light and crank feature is pretty cool..if I need it I will use it..but I am likely gonna go with a solar panel and
I have Eton..I am kinda disappointed.
