The "new" thing is the new circumstances into which this has been put. It doesn't even matter if the scene was funny in Reservoir Dogs or not. What matters is, that the Star Wars scene actually was a serious and tensional one. Maybe it doesn't work out for you, but for me it is one of the most creative brickfilms I've seen so far.
