@zXTheFallenXz yeah I love that ship, especially the original "aurora" we saw in the 2x09 :) i'm actually writing a story telling the events that occured before Atlantis left the pegasus galaxy that features the "Aurora" and the famous giant battle "Old Weir mentions". Too bad it's in french for now, but I may translate it in the future even if my english is poor lol.

if u think better: auroras don't have real weapons only drone bay, so... by logical the ship must work only for armor, shields and speed. but whiteout a zpm shields must be a fail work

I don´t think so because the ancients technology is not advanced about 10.000 years, so maybe a Hatak could have better shields than an aurora-class-battleship - and the BC-304 Shields are stronger than Hatak-shields.

I think the ancient ships are stronger on shields while the bc - 304 mark 2 earth ships are better on guns cause the Asgard laser
