First Flight with T-REX 600 (and Crash)

This is the video of my first flight with the T-REX 600 helicopter RC model. Unfortunately the flight didn't take much longer than 2 1/2 minutes

I love when ppl (ie you) buy expensive helicopters like the t Rex 600 when you cant even fly them, sure you can hover but i dont see any forward flight atleast no in control forward flight, and no nose in hover. WHY OH WHY would you waist money on such a heli if you cannot fly it. DISGRACE!!

@cookumoo What is your problem. Why do ppl (ie you) have to envy others which are simply able to afford things they like (ie a Heli). Start earning your own money and be quiet! And as you might have noticed: This video is 3 years old. I handle the same (repaired ) T-Rex perfectly by now. Just because you can't do something initially, it doesn't mean that you can't learn and shouldn't even try it! Get yourself a hobby, dude, stop mocking around on other videos!

@odraese I should have worded that differently. I apologize for sounding arrogant, but infact I do have a hobby it is the same as yours. It just seems ignorant to buy, crash, fix, buy, crash, fix..an expensive heli, when you could learn on a cheap one first, then fly then expensive one without crashing.. sorry just my opinion. Didnt mean to offend.

@cookumoo No offense taken. By the way: I tried with a cheaper Heli before: Unfortunately it was an eSky Coaxial and when I managed that little heli I've been stupid enough to think that I could also fly bigger ones. Anyway, what helped was Simulator (RealFlight) training....

you were fighting the controls, letting the heli control you. also dont ever fly without a canopy. worst thing you can do.

I feel your pain mate, the walk to the heli after the crash is the worst in the world isnt it lol, you dont know how bad it is but you are praying for as little damage as possible.

This guy is no disgrace, at least he's trying and the only wayto improve is practise. I would suggest you spend more time on a SIM tho :)

@odraese cheaper helis always suck buy the biggest you can afford to keep flying/crashing and enjoy the hell out of it. thats what this hobby is for, fun and nothing more.

You gotta keep that tail towards you until you get much better. Sim time is your best option right now.

crash was always on the cards when you try side on and nose in on your first few flights.did well to last the 2 1/2 mins

@33gate1 Because in the case of a crash, which is inevitable when flying helicopters, the canopy will help to save your electronics. It's not guaranteed to save your gear, but it's an extra wall of protection between your expensive parts and the ground.
