"SISMEC Presents," series looks at the major political conflicts in the Middle East through the eyes of scholars and practitioners.

We are talk with Dr. Stephen Zunes on the nature and successes of Strategic Non-Violence in toppling dictatorships in Tunisia and Egypt, and possibly elsewhere.

Dr. Zunes chairs the Middle Eastern Studies program at the University of San Francisco, where he is a Professor of Politics and International Studies. He edited the book "Nonviolent Social Movements: A Geographical Perspective."
