Are you using a Gamebridge? And is your TV an HDTV full HD 16:9 aspect ratio? Is it the TV full widescreen when you record? Any of those could be factors.

i think it's just cuz i can't record off my gamebridge when my xbox it on HDTV mode, so when i switch to TV it lose HD. No biggie

well mines set up to the reg tv output so i can still play normal on my tv if i want.

you can do hd, but for me its too much of a hastle
