Verizon preps Droid iPhone competitor, but can it deliver?

The iPhone has definitely been a thorn in Verizons side, and without a slick, modern touchscreen smartphone of its own to battle Apple and AT&T, Verizon has been left relatively scrambling. Last year, they hyped the BlackBerry Storm, but failed to deliver on the hype. This year, the company is prepping the Droid from Motorola, hoping itll be the device that takes them over the top. The Droid has beaten the iPhone, on all aspects. You can make the argument about the iPhone being the 1st of it kind...but that only speaks wonders for the Droid

The Droid simply beat the iPhone at it's own game. End of Story.

Not saying the iPhone is bad. It's an amazing phone

But the Droid is better.

the Droid is better than the iphone. a few reasons for that being that, one at&t sucks!! i will admit they tipicaly r faster, IF U HAVE BARS!! which at&t does not have. dont get me wrong verizon is still fast. but the iphone honestly, is for media. if u really look at it. and the app store has 90,000+ apps nd the market place for the droid has 10,000+ but look closely at the app store, they have multiples of essentialy the same app, but made by someone else. the market place has no duplicates

my old XV6800 is faster than the new iphone..that shit is slow..love the ipod though!
