A demonstration of the tempo detection feature in Cubase 6 by Andrew Schravemade from Steinberg. This video provides a basic walkthrough of this feature, and this and many other new features found in Cubase 6 form our series of video based around this phenomenal piece of software. This video was shot as part of a sneak pre-NAMM 2011 preview of Cubase 6 at the headoffice of DV (Digital Village).
ah, dammit, was hoping he'd show us that second application, how we go about warping the audio by changing the tempo. Also not quite sure how this deals with time changes.. I have a band going from 4/4 to 3/4 on a section, plus it's black metal with crazy fast beats. I'd like to know if Cubase can detect that or if there's a faster method than Pro Tools' incredibly slow identify beat.

i'd love to get a demo of someone showing how the tempo detection actually sounds like.
i.e. insert a pre recorded guitar track > tempo detection > add drum loop
or whatever
