A demonstration of the tempo detection feature in Cubase 6 by Andrew Schravemade from Steinberg. This video provides a basic walkthrough of this feature, and this and many other new features found in Cubase 6 form our series of video based around this phenomenal piece of software. • ah, dammit, was hoping he'd show us that second application, how we go about warping the audio by changing the tempo. Also not quite sure how this deals with time changes.. I have a band going from 4/4 to 3/4 on a section, plus it's black metal with crazy fast beats. I'd like to know if Cubase can detect that or if there's a faster method than Pro Tools' incredibly slow identify beat.

  • Which Cubase product is least price that contains tempo detection?

  • @potbellysincebirth My question too...

  • suprr

  • question: seeing that the wave file tempo is not perfect, if i wanted to change the wave files tempo so that it perfect hits for eg 120bpms how would i do that?

  • Thats my lecturer :P

  • what mac do you have? what " ? and procesor ? thanx

  • i'd love to get a demo of someone showing how the tempo detection actually sounds like.

i.e. insert a pre recorded guitar track > tempo detection > add drum loop

    or whatever
