Boosting: Part One

This section is part of work-in-progress Art Pepper movie, "Straight Life: The Stories of Art Pepper," based on the book, "Straight Life." Most of the narration is by Art himself, his own words on the tapes he made when we were working on the book. In this case, the text is read by James Intveld & he'll be in the live parts of the sequence, along with Gus Gonzales who plays Rudy. Bijou is played by Leo, the only actor who ever got paid for working on this movie. The drawings are by Mae Babitz. The photo of the Hollywood Ranch Mkt is by Sol Babitz. The song is "Make a List" from the latest release on Widow's Taste. The band is Milcho Leviev (p), Bob Magnusson (B), Carl Burnett (D).
P.S. The beautiful 1937 Plymouth is by "Schurby," and it and the other 3d figures were manipulated in Poser, After Effects, and Final Cut Pro.
