The content is projected onto the wall at floor level. The film projector is connected to a motion sensor and when motion is detected triggered. This sets up a dialogue between image, viewer and the celluloid strips materiality. A short loop of film is run through the projector again and again, destroying it as the audience views it. This participation transforms the work into something that inevitably perishes and is destined for the pan.

The footage was filmed on my Canon mini DV handycam, edited in Final Cut Express 4, exported as a QuickTime Movie and then de-interlaced with JES Deinterlacer.
